Holiday Discount

Enjoy a 50% reduction of normal charges for up to three weeks holiday a year. Please notify the Nursery in writing at least four weeks in advance.

Meals & Snacks

Healthy meals included
in your child’s day

All fees for non-funded children are inclusive of all meals — except for baby milk, which parents provide.

Funded children are subject to a small food charge of £4 per day, or £2.50 per afternoon session, as government funding does not cover the cost of meals.

Pre-School children (age 3+) have the option of bringing a cold packed lunch and snacks. Please ask to see our Packed Lunch Policy.

Funded Places

Government funded childcare available

Funded places are available for 9 months – 5 year olds as per the Nursery Free Education Entitlement.

3–5 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of universal government funding, and children of working parents may be entitled to a further 15 hours of extended funding.

For full eligibility details, visit
www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.

How it works

Funding at Daisy Chain

We offer the Government’s 15-hour and 30-hour funded childcare options across all the weeks we are open.
Children under the age of 3 can only take the 30 hour funding stretched throughout the year.

15 hrs

Universal Funding

Available to all 3–5 year olds, regardless of working status.

30 hrs

Extended Funding

An additional 15 hours for children of eligible working parents.

22 hrs/wk

Stretched Option

Under-3s can stretch the 30 hours across the full year — up to 10 hours per day.

Extra hours. Where parents require hours outside of the funded entitlement, these are charged at £7.00 per hour.
Meals on funded sessions. A food charge of £4 (full day) or £2.50 (half / afternoon) applies, as funding does not cover meals.
Tax-Free Childcare is also accepted as a payment method towards any non-funded fees.
Securing your place. A £50.00 deposit is required at the time of application — refunded after your child’s first month with us.
