At around 3 years of age, your child will move to our pre-school rooms, where they are encouraged to learn through direct experience within an environment that is both caring and stimulating. Our pre-school rooms promote learning and prepare children for life at school. Funded pre-school places are available at Daisy Chain Day Nursery in Chesterfield, contact our team to find out more about enrolling your little one.

Giving Your Child The Head Start They Deserve
Our pre-school rooms feature low sinks, tables and chairs where children work on activities, preparing them for a school, learning based environment. All learning materials and toys are displayed on accessible shelves; these elements allow independence and help develop motor skills within children. All of our rooms here at Daisy Chain Day Nursery are warm, welcoming and well-organised, making children feel at home.
We aim to promote learning, activity and development within all children and ensure that we provide the physical resources to allow this to happen in our rooms. We expect children to value one another as individuals, to take pride in their achievements and show consideration for the environment that they share.
Daily routine encourages independence and self-confidence, and discipline is also considered important in the nursery; we encourage children to behave within acceptable boundaries. We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure that every child is equipped with the necessary skills to successfully transition from nursery to school.
